“NoFollow” Backlinks are No Good.
What is a “nofollow” link? Basically when you link to someone but don’t quite want to give them full credit for their solid work so you add this interesting little tag that blocks stat trackers from recognizing the link. Not a good idea! It’s disrespectful and is also a great way to completely ruin you reputation!
Increase Participation!
A major part of continuing to grow your sports blog is through reader participation. If your posts are sorely lacking comments, then it’s time to start encouraging them. Ask questions, be controversial and be entertaining! If your posts aren’t receiving responses, maybe you need a new approach to your niche or writing style.
Are you a Top 50 Sports Blog?
Our newest set of rankings are up! We tend to think that our rankings are unbiased and are a pretty solid way to look at ranking sports blogs. We also feel that if you continue to work at the areas we use to rank blogs, that you will also see your blog continue to grow tremendously. It can all be achieved by networking, link building and traffic building.
