Every week T-Roc will share his thoughts on what is going on in college football, make picks and fire back at your nasty comments. Want to learn more about him, check out his first post or visit his archive.
Spike TV won’t stop showing the Star Wars movies and I won’t stop getting sucked in by them. Now that you know I consistently lose a battle of wits with one of TV’s dumbest networks, I won’t worry about people following my picks.*
Just finished watching the scene at Jabba’s palace in “Return of the Jedi”. Princess Leia’s bikini prancing rendered her my go-to sex symbol from ages eight (hey, I matured quickly) through 13 (the first year my parents let me see SI’s swimsuit edition). I don’t think any other woman’s had a similar five-year run at No. 1.
So there you go, Carrie Fisher, wherever you are - as long as Spike TV holds a broadcasting license, deposits to the spank bank will be made in your name. Shine on, you crazy diamond.
All numbers are from Pinnaclesports.com from Tuesday night.
* I’ve never worried about that. You’re here for Cuzzy’s quasi-smut, I know. It’s OK. I’m down wit da boobiez 2.
Cincinnati at Connecticut, Saturday, noon ET: Cincinnati -1 1/2
Big shift on this line and I want to jump on it before it reaches a field goal. UConn’s early wins at home are more impressive now than they were at the time, but this ain’t the same Huskies squad.

The Cincy injury mess at QB has received more press, but the Huskies’ quarterback injuries have a bigger effect on its offence, letting opposing defences key on Donald Brown more than ever.
Central Michigan at Toledo, Saturday, noon ET: Central Michigan -3 1/2
Road favourites are dangerous, but Toledo stinks. Ignore the Rockets’ win at Michigan ’cause the Wolverines stink too. Look at their losses to Ball State and Nothern Illinois instead, a pair of MAC West teams roughly on par with the Chippewas.
Brian Brunner and freshman runner Bryan Schroeder looked great last week so I’m not overly worried if Dan LeFevour sits again with a bad ankle.
Rice at Tulane, Saturday, 3 p.m. ET: Rice +1 1/2
Tulane is at home and has a statistically-sound pass defence, but it hasn’t faced an aerial attack like this. Jarett Dillard has 1,940 receiving yards and 35 touchdowns in his last 20 C-USA games. That’s fucking sassy.
The Green Wave beat the Owls last year largely due to Matt Forte’s 40 touches for 245 yards from scrimmage and five touchdowns. He’s in Chicago now and Andre Anderson can’t quite replace that kind of production.
Michigan State at Michigan, Saturday, 3:30 p.m. ET: Michigan +4
I know, I know - and within two paragraphs of saying the Wolverines stink, too. But Sparty lacks something that Illinois and Penn State (the two Big Ten schools that ran over UM) have: a mobile quarterback.

Everyone knows Javon Ringer’s the key for MSU and his recent numbers aren’t promising: 94 ypg in October as opposed to 180 in his first five games. Brian Hoyer stinks and so do MSU’s chances of covering as a road favourite.
Texas A&M at Iowa State, Saturday, 7 p.m. ET: Texas A&M +3
Jesus, taking Michigan and the Aggies in the same column. I must be a masochist. But it’s not like I think either is very good. It’s just that their opponents seem to be the beneficiaries of unwarranted respect.

Iowa State has recently gone from losing honourably to being blown out by mediocre teams. As such, the Cyclones have stopped covering spreads. That’s important to losers like me.
Notre Dame at Washington, Saturday, 8 p.m. ET: Notre Dame -11 1/2
Might as well make it a trifecta - Michigan, A&M and the fucking Irish. Can’t be helped, though - Notre Dame’s improved and coming off a bye while the Huskies are a putrid team in a smelly conference.

I’d love to see Tyrone Willingham kick Charlie Weis in the gunt in lieu of shaking hands post-game, but Ty’s already talking like a dead man. A limp handshake after a 20-point loss at home it is, then. No Locker, no chance.
