I think this is a GREAT trade for both sides. I think Chauncey’s gonna change the make-up of a Denver team that doesn’t know how to win in the Playoffs. These games are gonna be fun to watch on VCast Mobile TV on the new Krave phone (motorola.com/krave)…

Since Detroit doesn’t care about games 1-82, this is entirely a post season deal. Rodney Stuckey is good enough to play point on this team and get them into the play-offs. But Allen Iverson will terrorize the Boston point guards. Detroit and Boston went 3 deep at the point last season, (Rondo, House, Cassell / Billups, Stuckey, Hunter) and this move doesn’t compromise that framework. It enhances Detroit’s chances of willing this matchup and ultimately, winning on the parquet floor in Beantown.

I don’t know who won, but the Pistons definitely lost. Iverson is a shell of his former self and is a shoot-first point guard. The Pistons don’t need that. AI and Sheed on the same team…Michael Curry is going to have his hands full.

pistons shake things up, and get a quality player in return. mcdeyess probably gets released, and returns to the pistons after a month.

denver gets their point guard, but takes on more salary (more years, not total money per).

gotta give the nod to the pistons on this one. dumars strikes again.
