A day after Jameer Nelson’s first career triple double against the Toronto Raptors, GM Brian Colangelo has had enough. “I knew that (Mitchell) winning Coach of the Year was going to cause some problems. I just didn’t anticipate it going this far.”

With the Raptors hanging on to the 8th spot in the Eastern Conference, due in part to spectacular play by MVP candidate Chris Bosh, and Most Improved Player candidates Andrea Bargnani and Joey Graham, the Raptors are looking to turn the corner without the stern and stubborn hand of Mitchell.

Rumoured to be up for consideration are former coaches Jeff Van Gundy, Paul Westphal, and former Raptors assistant Jim Todd.
