Toronto Raptors at Cleveland Cavaliers, Cavs -11, total 193

Well the header image pretty much tells the whole story for tonight. We suggest going out and getting your Christmas shopping done and avoid checking out the game. The Cavs are hotter than Jessica Alba and Jessica Biel mixed together and the Raptors are about as cold as the god damn weather here in Halifax. Add the two up and it will be a miracle if LBJ is still in the game come the final quarter. Cleveland was a hated team before this season thanks to Floppity Flop and Damon Jones but now they are hated because they are a good team. The outcome is going to be brutal and it kills us to be so negative towards the Raps but they have earned it for now. Time to hit the mall I guess.

Here is everything you need to know for tonight’s game.

The Goods

  • The Cavs look for a league-record ninth straight win by 12 points or more.
  • LeBron James is 48th in the NBA in minutes (35.1) this season, and he’s had to play even less lately.
  • Cleveland has won its last eight games by an average of 21.7 points.
  • The Cavs are allowing a league-low 90.2 ppg this season, 86.3 during the eight-game winning streak and 78.5 during their past four contests.
  • Chris Bosh has been limited to 18.3 ppg on 40.7 percent shooting in the Raptors’ current four-game losing streak that has dropped them to last in the Atlantic Division.
  • The Cavaliers have won seven straight over the Raptors at Quicken Loans Arena, with James averaging 34.0 points in the last three.

For bettors

  • Under is 20-8-1 in the last 29 meetings.
  • Cavaliers are 14-3 ATS in their last 17 home games.
  • Raptors are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games overall.

Prediction

It is going to be nasty. There is nothing that is telling me this game won’t be a blow out. My only hope is the Raps at least fight. Final score will be 102-88.
