Toronto Raptors at Chicago Bulls

Another Friday, another Raptors game. I won’t lie, it is becoming more and more painful to even care about this team and spend another Friday night watching them lose. As a fan you sign up for the good and the bad but for some reason this season has really bothered me. Then I read a post over at Raptorblog and Scott pretty much nailed it on the head. I hate this current team and they are tearing my heart out piece by piece. I have not missed a game yet this season and thanks to the DVR I will probably end up watching tonight’s game tomorrow so I can fast forward to the exact moment where the Raps find a new way to lose. If the Raptors were a Hollywood movie, everything is set up for a big rebirth. Bring in the scorned coach working on a farm to instill new life into a team that clearly has lost it’s way. Chris Bosh is about ready to go postal and if help does not come soon, his mind could be lost for the year. It does not even matter who is the opponent, as long as the Raps are playing the way they are, they won’t beat anyone. I don’t even think they would be in the top half of the ACC Conference this season. So try to enjoy the game tonight. Enjoy watching Derrick Rose put on a show and enjoy Bosh and Bargnani trying to do all they can to get a win. I need a break from the torture and may just shut it down until Sunday evening when the Kings are in town.

Here is everything you need to know for tonight’s game.

The Goods

  • The Bulls look to avoid dropping four straight games for the first time this season
  • The Bulls have dropped 11 of their last 16. They’re in 10th place in the Eastern Conference, two games back of eighth-place Milwaukee.
  • Andrea Bargnani had 16 points and six rebounds Wednesday, his 13th straight game scoring in double figures. Bargnani finished with a career-high 31 points on 10-of-14 shooting and grabbed 10 rebounds last week against the Bulls.
  • The Bulls have won 17 of the last 21 meetings with the Raptors, but Toronto has won twice in its last three visits to Chicago.
