The 18th season of Survivor kicks off tonight and we at Cuzoogle are about as excited as ESPN is when Brett Favre takes a dump.
Survivor: Tocantins boasts an intriguing cast of beautiful people, seemingly likable people, along with a few wild cards. There is a Grammy nominee, the wife of a former NFL running back, a couple of models, a multi-millionaire and a bona fide cougar.
Before you make your pick, check out these short blurbs for each player and then cast your vote for who will be the winner at the end.
The two tribes are called Timbira and Jalapao
For more info, pictures and bios, check out the CBS site.
Timbira
Benjamin Wade
Ben will be the most-talked about contestant this season. He wants Survivor to return to the survival of the strongest, and will thus align himself with Jerry the Army Sergeant, Tyson the Pro Cyclist and Erinn the Good Looking Hair Stylist.
Candace Smith
Candace is a model/event planner who one could only describe as “bosomy.” It looks like she may have athleticism on her side. She seems like a lone wolf, perhaps capable of playing things up behind the scenes.
Brendan Synnott
Brendan sold his granola company to Kellog’s for over $100 million. That’s right, Brendan is a Granola Baron, which makes him nearly impossible to root for.
Tyson Apostal
No one is really going to like Tyson. But, given his athleticism, the Timbirans will keep him around.
Erinn Lobdell
Erinn will be the best female contestant in years, a clever mastermind of the game, and a worthy million dollar winner.
Jerry Sims
Jerry is a natural leader of men, an old army sergeant, a more likable Rudy Boesch. His right-hand man will be Ben, and the two of them will lead their unstoppable alliance through the game.
Sierra Reed
After Sugar dominated the airwaves on Survivor: Gabon, the contestants will be wary of keeping an arrogant blonde model in their early twenties around. Sierra is overly confident and, like Sugar, not all that attractive for a model.
Debra Beebe
The middle school principal will surely get tagged with the “cougar” title, and it’s appropriate. The younger tribes people will not look kindly upon such stringent disciplinary standards, and will work to eliminate babe from the game. Middle-aged men everywhere will be disappointed.

Jalapao
James Thomas Jr.
The Southerner with the accent is generally a likable character, and I see James being no different. James will surprise some people with his mental acuity.
Spencer Duhm
Survivor loves to bring on the so-called “experts,” those contestants who have been studying the game since season one. Sometimes these people do just fine. Spencer seems like a nice enough guy, though he’ll be hurt by the fact that he’s the youngest Survivor ever, at the ripe old age of 19.
Joe Dowdle
All it takes is a picture to rub you the wrong way. I suspect his fellow tribe members will feel the same way. He’s also in the commercial real estate game, an industry full of swindlers and malcontents.
Carolina Eastwood
Carolina is a little cutie, and she’ll know how to push the right buttons. Carolina will be a surprising force in the challenges, but her luck has to run out sooner rather than later.
Sydney Wheeler
The super-hot model/interior designer will use her looks for good and not for evil. More likable than her looks might suggest, Sydney will be a fighter, and she’ll make it further in the game than she has any right to.
Sandy Brugin
Sandy is the Token old person this season, a bus driver in her fifties. The weakest link will certainly be Sandy.
Taj Johnson-George
Taj is married to former NFL star Eddie George. Her abrasive personality will eventually grate on everyone, and her elimination will be a mercy killing. I will root for her nonetheless.
Stephen Fishbach
He has vowed to cover up his Ivy League background, probably a good decision, not wanting to incite a class war.
Who is your pick?
