We said chess!

Yes we just noticed that you can actually bet on chess. This must be for the hardcore gambler that has been in withdrawal since football ended.

Bet365.com has odds for the famous Linares 2009 tourney and just to prove how well known it is, here is the write up for it.

Linares is often described as the Wimbledon of chess, being one of the strongest annual tournaments held. It is part of the chess Grand Slam, together with Corus Wijk Aan Zee, Mtel Masters, and Bilbao Masters. The event has been around since 1978 and always thanks to the same sponsor - Don Luis Rentero. Being a financially attractive event and a traditionally top chess competition, the tournament has always been a magnet for the top chess players. In 1994 it became the first Category XVIII tournament ever held, and Linares 1998 was category XXI.

Sounds impressive!
