Last month when Barack Obama became president, a lot of Canadians were clearly jealous. We watched the parties, the speeches and the hoopla for Obama more than we ever did for any Canadian Leader. So how do we compete with the United States? How about Captain F’in Kirk as the PM. William Shatner let his intentions be known that he would like to be Prime Minister of Canada, not Governor General, which is mainly a ceremonial position. How cool would that be? Sure he may not be the best person to run a country politically but he could not do much worse.

Beam me up, is all we can say to this idea. Here are other Canadian celebs that should run for the big chair once their acting/tv days are over.
