Have you ever gone a week without cussing or swearing? Well maybe verbally but certainly not in our head.
McKay Hatch is hoping for once his campaign to clear the air is recognized by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.
On Tuesday, the board is scheduled to issue a proclamation by Supervisor Michael Antonovich making the first week in March No Cussing Week.
Yep you read that right. No swearing for a whole week.
The thing is Hatch is only 15. How can he really understand the joy of cussing and swearing like a drunken bastard?
Hatch is a member of a No Cussing Club that meets at South Pasadena High School on Wednesdays. Man as if kids in high school needed any more reasons to get beat up.
It is not unusual for students who are not members to throw open the door and fire off a pile of four-letter words.
Oh by the way, there are no penalties if you do swear. It is more of a do it for yourself and make the world a better place kind of law.
The county isn’t the first entity to try to put the lid on swearing. Hell, two years ago a high school in Canada threatened to suspend repeat cussers. Way to go Canada!
Hatch wants this idea to grow. He wants to try to get California to have a cuss-free week. And then, maybe worldwide.
Fuck that.
The No Cussing Club has a website, they where bright orange T-shirts, they have a hip-hop theme song and get inquiries from all over from people interested in joining. Hatch estimates 20,000 people have formed similar clubs.
Nice work kid. Maybe if you get the likes of Gordon Ramsey to join, then you will have something.

For all of those who want to cuss freely and still feel the need to join a club or movement, we suggest the always cuzzing club known as Cuzoogle.
