So how did you celebrate square root day? We want to know.
The special day for math-buffs is today and in case you have no idea why it is a big deal? It only occurs nine times each century.
A teacher in California even started a contest meant to get people excited about the event. We hope it involves beer.
The winner will get $339 for having the biggest Square Root Day event.
How is Cuzoogle going to celebrate? Well let us share.
We are going to change into our classic Canadian Roots clothing, fire up the stereo and listen to The Roots and of course have a tall glass of Root beer.
Now none of that has anything to do with math, but who really gives a shit about that as long as you can figure out the spread when betting.
For those who need more, there is a Facebook page with hundreds of people signed up with plans to celebrate in some way.
Other examples of getting into the day include cutting root vegetables into squares, while others make food in the shape of a square root symbol.
The last Square Root day was five years ago, on Feb. 2, 2004, which coincided with Groundhog Day.
For those who are pissed about missing out on all the fun, the next one is seven years away, on April 4, 2016.
