For those who follow the blog, you know we are hardcore Toronto Raptors fans. That being said, we are also pretty jaded and bitter over how the season is going. Our coverage has fallen off over the past few weeks because to be honest it is hard to give two shits about the team.

Case in point, Monday night. We 100% forgot there was even a game on. They ended up getting rocked by the Charlotte Bobcats, a team that Raptors fans have made fun of for years. Now we are the Bobcats!

So after failing to see at least part of a game for the first time this season, it got us wondering what crappy TV shows we would choose to watch before flipping over to a Raps game. Be warned, we have sunk pretty low and that has to say just how bad the Raptors stink.

1. The View - Yes it is the honest truth. At least we learn some “hot topics”.

2. Oprah - Even the Dr. Oz episodes are better than watching the Raps trying to play defense.

3. Entertainment Tonight/Access Hollywood etc. - These shows generally rot our brains and are the lowest form of TV. Lately they have been a little more enjoyable because they don’t cover the Raptors. It is like an escape.

4. Grey’s Anatomy - More drama than a Toronto Raptors game that is for sure. At least the show plays out for a full 48 minutes.

5. American Idol - Yeah we know a lot of people like the show but for us it falls into the crappy pile. Sometimes a Raptors game can appear to be auditions full of talentless fools. Man would Simon have a field day with the Raptors roster.

6. That home makeover show with Ty Pennington - Awful show but at least what they build does not backfire in the end.

7. So You Think You Can Dance - At least there are hot chicks and no sign of Jose Calderon trying to defend a pick and roll.

8. CSI Miami - A good ol’ Horatio Caine quote could probably beat the Raptors the way things are going. Maybe the team can try and figure out when the team’s season died.

9. The Ghost Whisperer - Man, really getting low now. Bad basketball or a bad show. Well at least the GW is over in an hour.

10. Scrubs - Yes I used to be very high on this show but after some changes the show is a real letdown. Sound familiar Raptors fans?
