Protege Shoes @ K-Mart only 34.99

After hearing about basketball shoes that come at an affordable price I wanted to think Starbury’s all over again. Yet Al Harrington, Stephen Jackson and some other NBA players are now backing a shoe company called Protege.

Now before I rushed out and bought a pair I remembered back to when Marbury released the Starbury shoes in Steve & Barry’s. They looked alright and were a great price but when you put them on they just felt cheap.

Light padding, heavy and lacking support, I threw the Starbury’s in the closest never to be used again on the court. Now it wasn’t fair of me to think Starbury when I first heard about the Protege shoe line but I just did and like myself I don’t think I was alone.

So the other day I broke down and headed to my local K-Mart to pick up a pair of the Protege shoes. I bought the A3H which are the shoe of choice for Al Harrington of New York Knicks.

They look great, feel great, and so far I have used them to play a few times. Other than the usual blister from breaking in new shoes on the court these shoes felt great.

For a $35 dollar sneaker they deliver the same way a shoe double or triple it cost could. To me the Protege Basketball shoes are great and for only $35 dollars Why Not?

Now maybe we can call Al Harrington or Stephen Jackson K-Mart and not just Kenyon Martin. Let me know what you think about the Protege Shoe line. I would love to hear your comments. Let me know what style you picked and how your rate them.
