It came to no surprise today that the Toronto Raptors named Jay Triano the head coach for the next three years. Are we happy about it? Not really. Nothing against Jay but this team needed a new voice and a new direction and a coach with some winning under his belt. Yeah that would of cost money but it would be worth it. Look at the eight remaining coaches in the NBA Playoffs. That is the kind of guy they need. The Raptors players still see Jay as an assistant and as their buddy and that is not going to change.

Then again, give Jay a team with talent and he will probably win.
