We spent a lot of time watching the NBA Playoffs on the weekend. The weather was cold and rainy so what else would we be doing?

One of the best parts of watching games that don’t involve the Toronto Raptors is you get to enjoy quality basketball and see what the Raps lack and need to fix.

With the postseason down to eight teams, the thing that stands out is how important role players are to help a team win. The grinders on the starting unit or the bench guys that come in and have a great impact on the game. Toronto lacks this and hopefully over the offseason it can be fixed.

Here are a few role players from the second round we wish were on the Raptors.

Luis Scola

Chris “The Birdman” Anderson

Joe Smith

Carl Landry

Jordan Farmar

Brandon Bass

Kyle Lowry

Yes it does appear we love the Rockets role players. While we are at it, can we take their coach as well?

What role players have impressed you so far in the postseason?
