Jay Triano is the new head of the Raptors (at least on the bench) and now he is looking to piece together his first Raptors coaching staff. We are hoping for some strong personalities and since it is late in the day and our brains are fried, we want to have a little fun.

So we want to know what actors would make the best assistant coaches for the Raptors. Now keep in mind we are not really talking X and O’s here. We are talking about 100% entertainment value.

Then at least when the game goes in the shitter (as it seems to based on the past season) there will be something to watch in huddles and half time interviews.

Here are three actors we think would fit in great with the Raps.

Ricky Gervais - The interviews would be off the charts funny and the Raptors would turn into some form of NBA Office clone.

Christopher Walken - The timeouts would not be long enough for CW to get his message across but he can be in charge of scaring the crap out of the team when they are sucking.

Dennis Hopper - He looks like a coach eh? He will be that crazy, loose cannon assistant that keeps the players on their toes at all times. Don’t set a pick, expect your locker to be glued shut.
