Now that all those shitty shows like American Idol are off TV, it is time to start talking about the brilliant cable shows that rule around our house.

One of them is Dexter and there is some casting news today.

In a terrific move, Showtime has hired John Lithgow to play a serial killer in the fourth season of Dexter.

We have to agree with the article that this casting will be way better than Jimmy Smits last season.Nothing against Jimmy but he seems to be more like the guy you cast on CSI Miami, than Dexter.
