Man can work life really get in the way sometimes. Between an exciting and busy job, packing to move to a new house, trying to wrap my head around a baby on the way and staying up late to watch the NBA Finals…..I almost missed a chance to welcome the newest Raptor to the mix.

Yesterday the Raps traded Jason “I only shoot well in contests” Kapono to the Sixers for Reggie Evans. What was my thought? I was pretty pleased with the move.

The Raptors have three point gunners already but what they don’t have is the classic garbage man that Evans is. In fact every time he worked is ass of and did damage against the Raps, I was like, can we get him please.

What he lacks in good looks, he makes up for it in hard-nosed play that can really spark a team.

I can’t wait to see how he fits in with the 2009-10 Raps.

Kapono never panned out and was never going to.

It is too bad the folks at PC will have to reshoot their commercial now though.

Good move for the Raps?
