We are back! Cuzoogle is officially back in business in a new office, new house and new neighbourhood. Everything (almost) was a huge success on the weekend and the transition was pretty smooth.

Before we get back up to speed with posts, it is probably a good idea to rehash a weekend that was.

Friday night

As the packing kicked into high gear, we had to stop and watch three stressful periods of hockey. By the time the game ended and the Penguins hoisted the Cup, the house was down to a TV and couch and a lot of boxes.

Being based in Nova Scotia, we were of course pulling for Sidney. This place is going to be a madhouse when he brings the Cup home this summer.

Oh for those who entered to win the cash prize for picking who won the Cup. We have not forgotten and will sort that all out soon. I am sure there will be a Pens fan who will be very happy with $50.

Saturday

After a short sleep, it was time to get up and prep for the movers to come. The movers came, packed up, moved to the other house and unpacked all in under three hours. It was the best! We highly recommend hiring movers the next time you change addresses.

Next up in the very well planned out day was the cable guy. He was early if you can believe it. He hooked up all up and was out the door in an hour. Bummer he did not do it right. We still don’t have all our HD channels and the DVR box has said 12:00 for two days now. They are coming to fix it on Thursday.

The rest of the was unpacking, taking breaks for snacks and finally enjoying a pizza and beer on the deck to end the day.

Sunday

Up early to walk the dog around the new hood. Quiet and peaceful with the sounds of ducks and bullfrogs.

After that a tea on the deck to just enjoy a Sunday morning before a lot more running around and unpacking.

A deer walked by the back of our house so that was pretty cool.

Sunday afternoon involved another trip to the old place to pick up a few other small things and then to Home Depot and grocery shopping.

Back to the house for more unpacking and finally the computer got set up. Cuzoogle was back online.

Rain spoiled a chance for the first BBQ of the new house but the chicken dinner still turned out great.

Sunday evening was all about putting clothes away until it was time to watch the Lakers win the title.

Pretty boring game but I had to stay awake long enough to see the NBA season close.
