We have to say if you are running a political campaign, you should know your own backyard.
A candidate for governor in Colorado is the latest to use a picture of an out-of-state mountain in campaign materials.
Republican Scott McInnis “accidentally” used a picture from the Canadian Rockies on his website. Get you own mountains Scott, oh wait……you have some.
Time to blame the IT guy.
Last year, Republican U.S. Senate candidate Bob Schaffer famously displayed Alaska’s Mount McKinley in a TV ad as he talked about Colorado’s mountains.
The website featured the question “What do you want for the future of Colorado?” with a photo of the Canadian Rockies behind it.
We say it is not that far off. Wanting to be like Canada should be the goal!
This would be like the Toronto Raptors putting LeBron James on the cover of their media guide. We guess everyone can dream.
