Brandon Jennings gave Raptors fans a look at just what might have been when he scored 22 points to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a straight-forward 117-95 victory on last Wednesday night.

Jennings was the player selected by the Bucks just a pick after Toronto secured swingman DeMar DeRozan, whose tough transition to the professional game continued in a poor defensive display (how many
times has that been written this season) in Milwaukee.

Jennings has been simply sensational since coming into the NBA, and his 55 point outburst against Golden State last month is still the biggest single-game points haul this season, but would NBA Predictions had him down to work as a Raptor?

Based on this season’s performances that seems to be as much of a given as the Raptors continually giving up easy points to their opponents, although defense is not exactly Jennings’ strength either.

But he would have been an exciting addition to the roster even if he possibly would not have gone straight into a starting lineup ahead of a player with the recent past of Jose Calderon – something that was
never going to be a worry in point-guard less Milwaukee.

While the two might not have melded together in the backcourt it sure would have been exciting to find out, and having Jennings around would have helped a lot more than Jarrett Jack (no disrespect honestly!) did
on Wednesday.

His -19 +/- (a telling stat in the NBA as well as NHL it seems) was worst on the team and his 42% shooting all season is helping no-one, let alone a team that seemingly has to score 100 points every night to
have a chance of staying in touch.

And NBA Picks suggest that points is just what Jennings would have brought – all those worries over his
makeup are gone and those drafting early (especially the hapless Knicks) must cringe every time he scores yet another basket.
