Hedo is back tonight when the Orlando Magic invade the ACC to take on the Toronto Raptors. Do I care? Not really. I wish the season was over. It is hard to watch, hard to care and more importantly hard to waste time watching this team lose again and again.
This season was a write off when it began and that has held true. This season is all about ping pong balls and trying to get lucky in the draft. There is no “superstar” out there to get in my opinion in the draft and a lot of projects that I hope the Raptors don’t go near.
As for tonight’s game against the Magic. It means nothing for Toronto of course and really not that much to the Magic. They are a 4 seed for the playoffs and they know it. They just want to stay healthy and prepare for the Hawks.
Will there be booing? Yes, it is Toronto, that is what they do for former players coming back. But to be honest Hedo earned it. He collected a big payday from the Raps and got fat and happy. He made no effort and really was a giant bust. Then he winds up back in Orlando via the Suns and all of a sudden is motivated and looking like a star again. Only proves that something is missing in Toronto that holds players accountable.
Anyone going to the ACC for this one? Let us know what goes down. Maybe it will be free pizza pizza for everyone and maybe the Raptors will win? Honestly, I probably won’t check until tomorrow morning.
Only a few weeks of this mess to go and we can start to look foward to next season. All I am happy about is we are not Cleveland or Minnesota. That seems to be an even worse train wreck.
Until next time Raptors fans.
