On a day that is supposed to be all about ping pong balls, the Toronto Raptors and Bryan Colangelo have agreed in principle to a multiyear extension with the team.

So what does this mean? BC is back to do his thing in the T-Dot for a few more years. Is that a bad thing? It is hard to say. I have always been a fan but honestly, he has had his chance to make this team a winner (or at least relevant) and they are not. They are not Babcock bad but they are close. He has made great deals that looked like game changers only to have them fall apart. He seems to always fix things at least in terms of making space to move ahead, but then just falls back.
Never bringing in his own coach, for me, is the biggest failure of all. That beats out the J-O trade, the Hedo trade and even keeping Il Muggo around.
So we will see but one thing is for sure, the poster up top ain’t what it used to be.
Thoughts? What will this extension do if anything?
