With all the deal and coupon sites out there today, you would think there was little room left for more. Well how about a site that makes it a little more fun than just purchasing a deal. How about a site that allows you to bid on each deal just like a real, live auction.
Well that is what deal fun is.
They post daily deals on all the latest tech toys such as iPhones, iPads, big screen TVs and laptops. They also have jewelry, watches and other toys to bid on.
Here is a video on how it works
When I last looked at the site, they had auctions up for playstations, blueray players and digital cameras.
Pretty easy to get started. You make an account and purchase credits (60 cents each) which is what is used to bid with.
All auctions start at 0.01 cents and are all brand new products. You place a bid by pressing Bid Now assuming you are logged into your account.
Each bid will increase the price by 0.01 cents. Each bid will add 15 seconds to the auction timer. If the auction timer reaches 00:00:00 and no new bids are placed the person who placed the last bid wins the auction and can purchase the product at the final auction price. Some can end up being up to 95% off retail price!
Pretty sweet way to land an iPad that you know is brand new and never been used.
Other important features:
- Prompt and courteous customer service.
- No weekly or monthly win cap.
- If you bid on items and do not win it, you can use the bids towards buying the product. Basically your credits don’t go to waste.
- They have a beginners auction where you can practice and polish your skills.
This is no fly by night company. They have been mentioned on MSNBC and on Yahoo.
If you love the deal sites and can’t stop buying up services and products at a huge discount, this site has addiction written all over it.
Sign up to deal fun and try it out. Would love to hear from anyone who has won an auction. I am going to go and try and win an iPad.
