Sam Mitchell will always be one of my favorite coaches of all time. His days with the Toronto Raptors were some of the best if you ask me and I still feel to this day it was a bad move letting him go.

Anyways, Mitchell is one of the candidates to get the head coaching job in Minnesota. But now he has one more guy to beat. Rick Adelman is in the running now.
After interviewing six candidates in person, the team is working once again on trying to get former Houston coach Rick Adelman to come to town early next week to meet with David Kahn, Glen Taylor, Rob Moor, minority partners and other personnel.
I am pretty surprise that Adelman is still around. He is a winner and has proven it in places even when not having a great deal of talent.
But to lower his standards and take on a team like the T-Wolves? I just don’t see it.
If he declines, the Wolves then will move ahead with the process and probably choose either Don Nelson or Mitchell for the job.
We are leaning towards Mitchell and his fine suits to be back on the sidelines once the season or next season starts.
