Last night was Andy Rooney’s last show/rant on 60 minutes. The guy is 92 and he is the greatest example of a grumpy old man on the planet. His rants are both funny and sometimes so off the wall, you have no idea what he is going on about.

But the guy made people watch 60 Minutes. The only reason I saw him was I would usually be turning on CBS to see whatever show was on next. So being the early bird I am, there was always that last 10 minutes or so where I would catch Rooney’s rant.

I can’t see any of today’s on air personalities lasting as long as Rooney, not even the silver fox himself, Anderson Cooper.

Anyways, I just wanted to say so long to Mr. Rooney. Sunday evenings won’t be the same.
