So it sounds like Wednesday of this week will be the day that decides the NBA season. I have very little hope but at least they are making it dramatic. But unlike Kobe having the ball in the final seconds, this last minute play is most certainly going to hit the back rim.

The players will reject the offer and the season will be lost. We all knew it would get here at some point right?

Wednesday is the deadline given to the union by Commissioner David Stern to accept the owners’ offer: effectively, a 50-50 split of revenues and a package of harsh restrictions on team spending and free agency.
