Ah sorry to the Monday morning WTF. Not true, well at least not true in a world where pigs don’t fly yet.
Vince Carter is not coming back to the Toronto Raptors.
Carter isn’t a free agent yet, but I read on ESPN that sources close to the situation (Carter, not the guy from Jersey Shore) say the eight-time All-Star will be thrown into the open market shortly after the end of the lockout.
Chicago, Miami and San Antonio are expected to be among the teams interested in signing Carter, 34, once he clears waivers and becomes an unrestricted free agent.
Awesome, he will go to Miami and give us all one more reason to really hate that team. Although I can’t see Carter being able to tolerate Wade and James always being in his face for being, well……Vince-like.
Should be a fun week or two of scrambling once this lockout actually is over.
