The season is less than two weeks old and there have already been large swings of power. In the West, every day seems to make us think a different team is the one to beat. The Lakers and Mavs started slow and the Thunder look okay but are having some issues off the court.

The Spurs are dealing with Ginobili’s injury and well, the Nuggets just don’t have the pieces to move up to the top group. The wild card of course is the Clippers. They will need time to gel but now with Chris Paul, they have what it takes (on paper)

So who would you bet on to win the West after a few games? Stick with one of the usual suspects or take a flier on one of the next group due to a shortened season?
