Okay, I admit it, I did not watch any of last night’s game. To be honest I was not even sure if the game was in Toronto or Sacramento. I am out of it as a hard core fan. Work, kids and life just have become more important and more fun. Basically I am keeping my place on the bandwagon by reading the morning after stuff in hopes that if and when they become relevant again, I can just pick up where I left off.
Okay, enough about me. So from what I read, the Raptors played what you would expect from a third game in three nights. No passion, no hustle and little scoring. Oh and their best player to date this season go hurt.
Bargnani, who had 10 points and 10 rebounds before leaving for the night, is expected to have an MRI on Thursday to assess the damage. With the Raptors off for the day following three games in three nights, it won’t be until Friday before they have to figure out what they’ll do.
Yep, I knew when I saw Andrea on the front page of ESPN’s NBA page yesterday, something was going to happen. Hopefully it is not major but even if it is something small, the way this season is set up, there is little time to mend fully. I hear big guys need their legs.
So without Bargnani in the lineup, what are opposing teams going to do? Well they are going to be all over DeRozan like nobody’s business.
Well this all plays into BC’s game plan of tanking to rebuild I guess. It sure does not make it any easier to watch. Hopefully with time off Andrea just does not sit their eating his Primo pasta. He was having a decent season to date.
Oh well, there is always next year. It’s not like the rest of their division is getting better (oh wait).
