When it was announced that the NBA season was going to be 66 games packed into roughly 120 days, the first thought that I had was, wow there are going to be a lot of injuries.
The first few weeks seemed to be okay as guys got the rust off and playing with the excitement one would expect when they get their jobs back.
But now with over 10 games down, the injuries are really starting to pile up. Teams with depth are going to survive and teams that can’t handle losing a few guys, might be in trouble.
Here are the latest injuries woes.
Carmelo Anthony - New York Knicks
Chris Paul - L.A. Clippers
Dwyane Wade - Miami Heat
Grant Hill - Phoenix Suns
Many are of the nagging injury variety but with little time to rest and the grueling three games in three nights, this trend is only going to get worse.
The Toronto Raptors are without Andrea Bargnani as well.
The true goal of this season is not where you finish in the standings, it is all about just getting in the playoffs healthy.
